The last third or more of this is just badass fights. Solid fights, could be a more focused story.

I think the movie might have been overshadowed by Jackie Chan's portrayal of Fei-hung just 3 years prior in Drunken Master.

Much to the embarrassment of their respective father/teachers, Fei-hung and Yin-Lin are always competing with each other to prove their skill, so when Yin-Lin is incapacitated by Lu's goons for showing off, his protective sister (Kara Hui) blames Fei-hung and attacks him.
